Hey! I’m Grace
I’m a Sydney-based Experience Designer passionate about creating thoughtful, user-friendly experiences. I believe that good design starts with understanding the user, and so my design process is rooted in user research, testing, and iteration to ensure every decision is intentional and meaningful.

I enjoy blending creative thinking with functional design to improve everyday experiences, paying close attention to the small details that shape how something feels to use.

I wasn’t always a designer
I’ve always been creative, but I also had a strong pull toward research and systems thinking. So when 17-year-old me was faced with the very serious task of choosing a “forever” career, Medical Science felt like the sensible option.

Two years into my studies, it became clear something wasn’t clicking. I loved the research, but I missed having a creative outlet. I wanted to work at the intersection of creativity and logic, and so I made the tough decision to pivot.

That decision took me to Wellington (a long but fun story), where I completed a Bachelor of Design Innovation, majoring in Interaction Design.

I’m now back in Sydney, working remotely as an Experience Designer at Clutterbot. I’m a people person at heart and do my best work in collaborative, open teams where ideas are shared, challenged, and shaped together.

Outside of work, I’m either running, knitting, or learning Spanish (la manzana es roja). I also volunteer fortnightly at an aged care home, helping run a games session – a small but meaningful reminder of the joy that comes from connection and shared experiences.
